Setelah sempat heboh dengan munculnya kabar bahwa Apple akan meluncurkan iPhone dengan harga dibawah 1 juta, kini muncul kabar yang tak kalah heboh fitur terbaru yang akan dibawa oleh perangkat milik mereka ini.

Tidak hanya masalah ukuran layar saja yang disinggung namun menyinggung juga masalah terkait dengan fitur baru mereka yakni kemampuan mendeteksi sidik jari, dikutip melalui ruters (13/6/2013), setelah adanya wawancara dengan empat sumber anonim yang familiar dengan urusan ini, termasuk distributor besar di Asia yang menyebutkan adanya indikasi pemakaian teknologi tersebut. Selain apple, pemakaian sensor ini juga akan di gunakan oleh sang pesaing utama yakni Samsung yang kabarnya juga sedang mempersiapkan perangkat dengan teknologi serupa untuk varian galaxy terbaru mereka, Jika benar kabar ini, maka kedepanya pemilik ponsel akan lebih mendapatkan privasi dalam pemakain smartphone mereka karena sensor ini akan di gunakan untuk membuka kunci serta mengaktifkan ponsel, sehingga apabila terjadi kasus pencurian serta kehilangan maka perangkat tersebut tidak akan bisa di gunakan.
